Isn’t it just funny how life works sometimes!? Someone who has gone to school, done their bachelors for 4 years, and then their masters for another 2 or 3 years, gets a job and starts making about $75,000 to $200,000 dollars a year. Then, on the other hand, there are some people (who I have personally heard about) who never finished their bachelors’ degree, and yet, they are making tons more money online.
Yes, it’s true, thanks to the internet, lots of people now work online and make money, great money! And when I say money, I mean millions of dollars a year. However, it’s not as simple as getting onto your laptop and suddenly money comes flying into your bank account. I heard one successful affiliate marketer say, “it’s not hard but it’s not easy”. What did he mean by that?
Here’s the thing, if you want to work online and make money, you have to be dedicated and willing to learn new things. No, I’m not going to sugar coat it and tell you that you can make money 30 minutes from now. That actually is possible, but, if you want to want to successfully work online and make money, you need to be committed and focused to your business, cause it really is a business. There are also a number of tools and resources out there that can help you work online and make money.
So, what are a few of the ways you can work online and make money? Let me share with you a few that I have had success with, or know someone who has had success with. The first one is affiliate marketing, wow, I just love it! It has been a long journey for me, but I have personally experienced the GREAT MONEY you can earn. Basically, you sell/promote other peoples products, or their services, and you get paid a commission. May not sound like much, but if you know what you are doing, yeah, you can make a lot of money! Think about it, the internet is like a store that is opened 24/7, 365 days a year, opened to MILLIONS of customers who are online. All you need to do is get the right customers to your offer. So now you see why it’s not hard, but it’s not easy. With time and dedication, you’ll learn how to get the right people/traffic to your offer.
Second, we have stocks. Yes, analyzing the graphs and trends of the market so that you can buy low, and then sell high. If you like studying patterns and numbers, then this maybe the way for you to work online and make money. Basically, you buy into the market when stock prices are low, and when the prices go up, you sell the stocks that you bought. But, working online has its advantages ‘cause now there are so many helpful tools and resources to help you understand the different trends so that you can make a wise decision.
The last method I’d like to talk about is doing surveys. To tell you the truth, if you want to make a consistent amount trying to work online and making money, then I wouldn’t do this long term. BUT, if you need some extra income, go for it. Basically, you fill out surveys by giving your opinion, and then companies pay you for that. The reason they want your opinion is so that they have data for maybe a new product they want to launch, or a new market they want to get into.
If you are new, well, there are a number of companies that are willing to help you get started so that you too can work online and make money. But, I need to say, please be careful! From personal experience, I have lost money through fraudulent companies who were just running scams. So please, do your research first on a company and see if they are truly legitimate and want to help you succeed online, or if they out to get your money.
So, it is possible to live the dream, have money coming in on auto-pilot, spend time with your family at home or travel together, just remember, “It’s not hard, but it’s not easy”. Stay focused and committed, and hopefully, a year from now, you’ll be firing your boss, how’s that.
